What is Release Validation
Release Validation is the living record of validation for a specific release on the Unifize platform. Each release validation is tied to one or more existing features, but its scope is limited to the specific updates, enhancements, or fixes included in that release.
The goal is to verify that the release-level changes work as intended, integrate correctly with existing validated functionality, and do not introduce new risks or deviations. Unlike Feature Validation, which covers full end-to-end testing of a feature, Release Validation focuses only on the incremental change introduced in that release.
What this report includes
Targeted IQ/OQ validation evidence covering the updated parts of the affected feature(s)
Risk analysis and impact assessment for the release scope only
Change log entries summarizing what was updated, fixed, or improved in the release
How it is maintained
Each release on the Unifize platform has its own Release Validation Report that captures all testing, risks, and traceability evidence for that release.
The scope of validation is limited to the affected feature(s) and workflows modified in the release.
Previously validated functionality is not retested in full.
However, regression testing is done to ensure no impact on existing validated behavior.
Each report includes a Feature ID, Feature Reference, Version, and Validation Date for traceability.
Validation Report access and authentication
This validation package includes restricted content (procedures, risk data, and test evidence). To protect it:
Why the redirect: Links shown in the Knowledge Base intentionally redirect to
app.unifize.comto confirm your identity and permissions before opening the controlled validation document. How it works: After you sign in with your authorized Unifize account, you’ll be automatically routed to the controlled copy of the validation document. If you’re already signed in, the redirect completes immediately.
Why not a direct test-report link: The validation document is more than a raw test report; it includes additional sections and controlled evidence. We therefore do not deep-link directly to external test report URLs from public touchpoints.
If you can’t access: Please connect with your Unifize point of contact in case you're unable to access the Validation Report.
