Using SharePoint on Unifize
Overview
Unifize now integrates directly with Microsoft 365, allowing users to upload, manage, and create documents from SharePoint or OneDrive—without ever leaving the platform. This feature is designed to streamline your document control workflows, reduce redundancies, and keep everything in sync with your organization’s SharePoint permissions.
What This Feature Does
This integration enhances the existing Upload File checklist field in Unifize. Users now get a new file source option: Office 365 OneDrive / SharePoint, alongside the traditional options of uploading from the computer or the Unifize file store.
You can:
Attach files directly from your SharePoint or OneDrive.
Create new Microsoft 365 documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) from within Unifize (for Admins only).
Keep permissions aligned with your SharePoint settings, removing the need for separate access management.
Where to Use It
You can use this functionality in any checklist field set to Upload File.
To Enable It:
Navigate to Process Builder in Unifize.
Add a checklist field and select Upload File as the field type.
You'll now see new file source checkboxes, including:
Upload from Computer
Unifize File Store
Office 365 OneDrive / SharePoint
Once enabled, users will be able to pick from these file sources when uploading documents in a conversation.
