Unifize's SharePoint integration allows users to seamlessly access, upload, and collaborate on Microsoft 365 documents (from SharePoint or OneDrive) directly within checklist fields in Unifize. This feature enhances document management by linking enterprise storage directly into your quality, compliance, and operational workflows—without leaving the Unifize platform.
Once the integration is enabled by your Admin, you can:
Attach files from SharePoint or OneDrive: While filling out a checklist, you can choose files from your connected Microsoft 365 account.
View and Co-Edit documents: Open files directly in the Microsoft 365 browser to collaborate in real-time.
Create Microsoft office files (if enabled): If your admin has configured this, you may see options to create a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file directly from Unifize.
Participate in document-based conversations: Files added via SharePoint remain linked to the original document, ensuring version control and clarity in collaboration.
Checklists in Unifize are more than just task lists—they are dynamic, structured forms within each record that guide you through required actions or data entry. With SharePoint integration:
You can maintain a single version of truth for critical documents.
Files stay secure and compliant in SharePoint, but remain accessible in your workflows.
Real-time updates in the checklist reflect instantly for all participants, improving transparency.
No need to manually download/upload files—saving time and reducing errors.
Here’s what your journey looks like when working with SharePoint files in a checklist:
Open any checklist where file uploads are allowed.
Click Attach File on a file field.
You’ll see the option to Add from SharePoint/OneDrive.
Pick the file you need using the Microsoft 365 picker window.
Once selected, the file is linked and accessible to all participants.
Click to open the file in your browser (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Edits (if permitted) sync back to SharePoint automatically—no re-upload needed.
If enabled by Admins, you may also:
Click Create File → Choose Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Enter a name → File is created in SharePoint and linked in the checklist
